CFP Certification Scholarships – Deadline to Apply 10/10/21

The CFP Board Center for Financial Planning is excited to tell you about six CFP® certification scholarships that are now accepting applications. These scholarships are designed to provide you with financial assistance as you pursue the education requirement for CFP® certification and prepare for the CFP® exam. The deadline to apply for each scholarship is October 10, 2021. We encourage you to apply today!

Aspiriant Impact Scholarship

  • Eligible Applicants: Candidates for CFP® certification seeking to complete an undergraduate or certificate-level CFP Board-Registered Program who are from an underrepresented population within the financial planning profession (in terms of gender, race, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation) AND/OR candidates who have a demonstrated financial need.
  • Scholarship Award: Up to $5,000 to students seeking to complete a certificate-level program and up to $10,000 to students seeking to complete an undergraduate-level program.

Deena Jo Heide-Diesslin Foundation Challenge Match Scholarship

  • Eligible Applicants: Candidates for CFP® certification from an underrepresented population within the financial planning profession (in terms of gender, race, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation) who have a demonstrated financial need, and who are seeking to complete an undergraduate or certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program.
  • Scholarship Award: Up to $5,000 to students seeking to complete a certificate-level program and up to $10,000 to students seeking to complete an undergraduate-level program.

Parsec Financial CFP® Certification Diversity Scholarship

  • Eligible Applicants: Candidates for CFP® certification from an underrepresented population within the financial planning profession in terms of race or ethnicity who have a demonstrated financial need, and who are seeking to complete a certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program. Must be enrolled in a certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program at a college or university located in either Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia or West Virginia, OR be a resident of one of the above states and enrolled in an online certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program at the time the award is issued.

Ballentine Partners Scholarship to Create a Diverse Planning Profession

  • Eligible Applicants: Black or African American and/or Hispanic or Latino candidates for CFP® certification seeking to complete an undergraduate, certificate or graduate-level CFP Board Registered Program.
