DESMA X 479.5K AR/MR/VR for Immersive Content: Experience, Game & Media
Virtual reality and immersive technologies have finally moved from decades of development in research labs to commercial platforms by leading companies such as Facebook, Google, Samsung, HTC, Sony, and Microsoft. In this course, students create immersive projects that leverage the potential of VR and create impact by presenting solutions to real and validated opportunities. Through needs assessment, design research and hands-on prototyping, students will leave the class with a prototype suitable for portfolio or further development. Application of projects can be related to game, experience design, installation, or other forms of visual and experiential communication.
