Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP seeks a bright, articulate, self-starting professional for our Global Services office to support all aspects of summer, new, and lateral associate recruiting. This position will work closely with other members of the Recruiting Department, Diversity Department, Human Resources, Accounting/Finance/Payroll, and attorneys on our Hiring Committee. A successful candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Must have strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, capability to handle responsibilities with the highest level of integrity and discretion, willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibility, and ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.
This role reports to the Chief Recruiting Officer and the Recruiting operations Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the Chief Recruiting Officer and the U.S.-wide Recruiting team, reporting directly to the Recruiting Operations Coordinator.
- Assisting in coordinating all administrative aspects of Global Services recruiting functions including pre-employment processes through the Onboarding site.
- Drafting correspondence to law students, Firm attorneys, and external contacts.
- Maintaining the applicant tracking process including data entry and data clean-up in ViRecruit.
- Producing accurate ad-hoc reports from HRpal, Access, ViRecruit, and SilkRoad systems using advanced query techniques for end users.
- Preparing reimbursements and check requests in payment of various invoices using ChromeRiver accounting software.
- Assisting in preparing meeting materials and PowerPoint presentations.
- Communicating as needed with Firm stakeholders.
- Working with key personnel in Human Resources, Diversity, Accounting/Finance/Payroll, and the Firm-wide Legal Recruiting Department and Hiring Committee on initiatives and day-to-day processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the firm.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ideal candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and exhibit independent thinking and creativity.
- Strong computer skills including expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
Experience:
- University degree.
- Some professional work experience is highly desired.
- Professional work experience in Human Resources, Accounting or similar field is preferred.
- PeopleSoft, ChromeRiver, ViRecruit, and/or SilkRoad Onboarding skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $52-57k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
