Job Posting Requirements

Step 1: Create your employer profile.

  1. Set up your profile by following the instructions on this page. Then, create your employer account here.
  2. Add brand images: If you want us to add brand images to your job posting, send us your image(s). Or you can customize your posting with a company logo, web URL, address, videos, and photos.

Step 2: Post your job(s).

  1. Go to your profile page and click “JOBS” on the left side of your profile page.
  2. For fast approval, include 100% of these ‘POWER 7’ elements:
    • Position Title
    • Brief Job Summary (overall function of this role)
    • Brief Company Overview (1-3 sentences, website)
    • Daily job responsibilities (3-5)
    • Qualifications/competencies (3-5)
    • Salary (range or starting salary)
    • How to Apply (What to send, where, and by when – no personal email addresses accepted)

Step 3: Choose your target audience.

  1. Select tags by student populations (alumni, certificate students, etc.), academic areas (architecture, legal, etc.), and industry (education, accounting, etc.)
  2. Hit ‘save’.

UCLA Extension supports experiential learning opportunities provided in our internship courses. We encourage posting paid internship opportunities on our website. For unpaid opportunities, we will accept positions that match with one of our academic programs offering and internship course.
