Architectural Intern (Full or Part-Time)

3sixty Architecture + Design is seeking a full or part-time Architectural Intern to join our team.

We are a fast paced, small independent firm with a wide range of projects in both the commercial and residential fields. Our founding principles have over 50 years of combined experience in the world of building and design, having worked on all types of projects ranging from large corporate buildings and medical facilities, historical movie theaters, libraries, theme parks, restaurants, residential remodels, fire rebuilds, new construction & ADU’s. We are currently seeking talented and motivated interns who work well within a collaborative team environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Working under the direction of the Principals & Project Managers assisting with all phases of design for concepts through construction document preparation among other things.

Assisting project teams with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and developing drawings and specifications for concept through final design.

3sixty Architecture + Design is an all Mac office working in ArchiCAD (3D BIM software), will help facilitate opportunities for hands on learning of the software through experience.

Ability to take direction, offer solutions and follow through on tasks delegated within established and demanding deadlines.

Qualifications:

Senior or graduate status, pursuing a degree in Architecture or recent architecture graduate is preferred.

Specific desire to understand and communicate information and prepare detailed technical drawings including floor plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.

Specific desire to obtain experience with Commercial and Residential projects.

Conduct research for the project team, produce graphic presentations, and revise drawings and renderings.

Ability to plan, prioritize and organize simultaneous assignments and work under tight deadlines.

Knowledge of other office programs such as Word, Excel, Acrobat, Photoshop etc (or Mac equivalent).
