Abacus Capital Group is seeking an intern candidate in its Los Angeles, CA office that is interested in learning about multifamily capital markets and operations while assisting the Acquisition and Asset Management teams. The internship will last for 10 weeks.

• Underwrite prospective multifamily deals using excel models

• Assist in the multifamily renovation process

• Analyze leasing activity and monthly operating performance

• Conduct and understand market research

• Work directly with the Acquisition and Asset Management teams on ad-hoc tasks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Successfully completed classwork in financial modeling, real estate investment and/or financial accounting

• Hard worker & team player – no task too small

• Excellent time management – use time effectively and efficiently
