Growing tax firm is looking to hire one to two tax associate interns to work with our tax services team preparing client financial disclosures for government agencies and individual tax returns. Interns work directly for and are personally trained and mentored by a member of senior management with significant industry experience who is a licensed CPA. There is opportunity for continued employment and professional growth for the right candidate.
TERM AND WORK SCHEDULE
The anticipated start date will be during the first week of January with an initial end date during the third week of April. The end date may be extended for the right person depending on the needs of the firm.
Interns will go through training and then be assigned to work on client files under the supervision of a licensed CPA. Work experience should count towards licensure requirements.
Our firm is open Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours a week in our Downtown Los Angeles office during normal working hours and are restricted to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Exact scheduling will be based on the intern’s outside commitments.
Candidates must be able to present documentation showing they are authorized to work in the United States. Some accounting experience or knowledge is preferred but not necessary. The right candidate must be eager to learn, have meticulous attention to detail, and able to work independently and complete assigned projects timely.
