Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a paralegal and hold a paralegal certificate. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in managing and preparing Lemon Law cases
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and case investigations
- Organize and maintain case files and evidence
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Coordinate filings, deadlines, and case calendars
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and depositions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in litigation or consumer law
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court filing systems
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
