Important Payment Information:
Please be aware that CSSSA is a state agency and contractors will not receive payment until the California State Legislature passes the State Budget. Though the budget is typically passed by July 1st, there may be a delay due to political reasons. As a result, contractors may receive payment anywhere between the end of August and October. Please take this into consideration when applying.
Health Insurance:
As independent contractors, CSSSA instructors do not receive health insurance coverage. A nurse will be on duty during the session to address minor health concerns, and students and faculty may be referred to off-campus medical providers if necessary.
