We are seeking a talented freelance Interior Design Draftsperson to collaborate on residential projects ranging from remodels to full-service design. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in CAD and SketchUp, and other related design software, a refined design eye, and the ability to translate creative concepts into clear, detailed visual presentations.
Job Responsibilities

Draft accurate 2D plans and elevations using AutoCAD.

Create 3D renderings and visual presentations in SketchUp.

Conduct on-site measurements and documentation of existing spaces.

Collaborate closely with the designer to refine layouts, materials, and furnishings.
Bonus skill: Ability to prepare digital mood boards and presentation packages for client meetings.
Qualifications / Competencies

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required).

Degree in Interior Design or currently in the final phase of an accredited Interior Design program.

Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and furniture layout.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication.

Availability for on-site field measurements in the Los Angeles area, primarily on the West Side, with flexibility to meet project deadlines.
Compensation
Freelance position. Compensation based on experience and project scope.
