Del Amo Construction’s rotational Summer internship will provide you with both in-office and in-field experiences, allowing you to maximize your exposure to the construction industry and its career paths.
We are proud to say we have hired three past interns onto our team full time in the last six months! This upcoming summer, we are looking for students who are passionate about pursuing a career in construction and starting their legacy with us.
Our internship program is comprised of three rotations. The first part of the summer, you will be working with our experienced estimating team in the office, learning about take offs, design development and plan reading. During the second portion of the summer, you will be on one of our construction sites, shadowing a project team. Here, you will work closely with our knowledgeable Superintendents and Project Managers, in the heart of the construction action! During each rotation, you will work side by side with each mentor, fully immersing yourself in the project.
During the summer, you will also expand your knowledge of different softwares, such as Procore and BlueBeam, which are increasingly becoming more important in the construction industry. Additionally, you will also earn your OSHA 10 with us.
Throughout the summer, we host a variety of Intern events, catering to the interests of the Interns. During previous summers, we have coordinated happy hours, a day of site tours and golf outings.
Come “see” us on campus this Fall at our virtual events! This Fall 2020, we will be visiting ASU, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly SLO, CSULB and CSUN! Visit our website for the full college recruitment schedule!
