Full-Time Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Our busy estate planning law firm in Century City is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for assisting with managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services, providing support to the legal team and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. Furthermore, we are willing to train the right person but in return we are not looking for a temporary position but our hope is that you will stay with our little law firm family for a long time!
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent writing skills and grammatical competence
Very trainable and quick learner
Able to prioritize deadlines and manage shifting priorities
Excellent customer service skills and patience
Experience in Estate Planning is highly desirable
General Job Duties will include: Update database of digital records; Drop mail/ courier work; Calendaring meetings and court hearings; Scanning documents and filing; Answering phones and dealing with clients, Inputting date into software programs
Salary: $18.00 /hour but will pay more based on experience, at our discretion. After an initial trial period, health insurance benefits will also be provided.
