Law Offices of Kelvin Rosado is looking for an Immigration Legal Assistant to join our growing legal team. The person will be responsabile for communicating with customers in-person and via phone calls, assist in case management, and assiting in the preparation of family-based petitions, asylum, and immigration court proceedings. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required, including written skills in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Meet with clients in person to receive and/or complete documents.
- Assist in the preparation of immigration applications for filing with the Immigration Court, USCIS, and BIA, when applicable.
- Assist in the communication with clients about the progress of their case.
- Organize filing cabinet, and scan documents.
- Asssit attorneys and other team members to manage caseload.
- Assist and participate in our social media channels with video ideas.
- Provide regular updates to our case management system including updates to client information, case tracking information, and client communications.
Qualifications
- Required: Bilingual in English and Spanish, including excellent written skills in both languages.
- Experience and knowledge of immigration court, immigration family-based petitions, humanitarian, citizenship, and other immigration applications, as well as case management software, is highly preferred.
- Experience with social media.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Teams, and computer system programs.
- Able to travel on an occasional basis.6.
- Able to be in-person at the office in the location above mentioned.
- High School Diploma required, and higher education preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay Range: $20-24/hr – Pay ranges are depending on experience on a case by case basis.
