PARALEGAL POSITION – LITIGATION & BANKRUPTCY
Lesnick Prince Pappas & Alverson LLP – Los Angeles, CA
Lesnick Prince Pappas & Alverson LLP, a Los Angeles-based law firm, is seeking a paralegal to support our sophisticated litigation and bankruptcy practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or recent paralegal program graduate who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file documents in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and filing procedures
- Assist in drafting and formatting pleadings, motions, and related documents
- Manage document productions and searches using appropriate document management tools
- Supervise service of process, subpoenas, and court documents
- Conduct legal and factual research and investigations
- Perform asset searches and conflicts checks
- Provide other requested case support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation and bankruptcy matters
- Support office management and administration
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and persistence to accomplish tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Familiarity with court filing systems (state, federal, and bankruptcy)
- Experience with e-discovery and document management software (like Relativity, Logikcull)
- Ability and willingness to learn
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, in-office preferred
- Part-time or hybrid schedule may be considered after an initial in-office training period
- $32–$39 per hour, depending on qualifications
