Seeking a capable paralegal. Any candidate must be very familiar with standard business software including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Candidates should have experience with creating and formatting wide variety of litigation documents including discovery demands and responses, pleadings, motion papers, declarations, and exhibits. Experience filing in state and federal court (including e-filing) preferred. The candidate will be responsible for helping prepare for depositions and trials, organizing and managing voluminous case documents, creating and formatting pleadings and correspondence, and preparing and filing documents in state and federal courts.
In addition, the ideal candidate would be able to work well in a fast paced environment, be able to take direction well, knowledgeable about local rules and have a good understanding of civil procedure. The incumbent would be reliable, detail oriented, diligent and dedicated to the success of the firm. Our firm has grown significantly over the last year and we want to continue to build on our team of dedicated professionals. Must have an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate, or an AA degree in paralegal studies.
