Job Summary:
Financial Analyst will support the Advisory Team by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, client portfolio tracking, and client meeting preparation. This role will involve gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting with investment strategies to support client goals. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the wealth management and financial planning industry. This can be fully remote within the US but may need traveling to Los Angeles a few times a year for team building and selective meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize information for client meetings with attention to details and accuracy.
- Prepare portfolio and financial planning analyses for clients, including but not limited to, retirement analysis, estate planning analysis, education funding analysis, stock options analysis, and risk management needs analysis.
- Track client information and communications, manage workflow, and generate reports using various software and tools.
- Assist with the creation and analysis of financial plans under the guidance of the Advisory Team.
- Assist with investment research and portfolio analysis and learn how to balance portfolios and recommend trades. Research and pursue topics relevant to advisory competency, synthesize and report on information gathered from publications, conferences, and relevant meetings. Participate in team-building activities, including staff meetings, strategic planning retreat, goal setting (firm and personal), ongoing team gatherings and meetings. Participate in firm projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and strong attention to detail. Willingness and flexibility to handle a wide range of tasks and requests.
- Strong willingness to learn and absorb industry knowledge and firm-specific processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel. Demonstrated passion for the financial planning and investment management profession. Must be a self-starter, problem-solver and goal-oriented team player who is self-reflective, able to work independently, and with a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Completed or in pursuit of the CFP® designation is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience, skills, and credentials ($55,000 – $75,000 per year). Company matching for 401(k) plan and profit-sharing plan after one year.
