This is an unpaid, for credit internship.
To be eligible you must:
- Currently enrolled at a college/university in the United States
- Commit to 15 – 24 hours per week
- Must work in person from our Los Angeles office
Your primary focus will be researching and identifying emerging acts and supporting A&R Coordinators and Managers with outreach efforts. You will also be responsible for general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings/calls, taking notes in meetings, etc. Along with the A&R duties outlined herein, this role also includes an operational component.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist A&R team in researching/identifying potential clients
- Track/analyze data such as editorial playlisting/social media posts pertaining to key artists – Aid in maintaining pre-existing client relationships
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling calls/meetings and taking notes in internal/external meetings
- Manage release assets including masters, artwork, label copy, pitch notes/epk, bios and press photos
What We Are Looking For:
- Must be enrolled in a college or university and eligible for college credit
- Must be available to work from our LA office
- Passionate/knowledgeable about music industry talent and trends
- Strong work ethic and use of discretion with confidential matters
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external teams
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under time restrictions without compromising integrity/quality of work
