Summer 2025 – Commercial Product Intern
This is an unpaid, for credit internship.
To be eligible you must be:
- Currently enrolled at a college/university in the United States
- Commit to 15 – 24 hours per week
- Must work in person from our Los Angeles office
You will learn from folks supporting priority artists and label accounts and ensuring that releases receive comprehensive service. Our team excels in collecting and managing marketing and pitch information, securing placements, sharing platform best practices, and actively contributing to the success of the pitching process.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Coordinators to work directly with artists, their teams, and our internal marketing team.
- Assist in creating and refining pitches for priority releases.
- Help implement artist development strategies, track release plans, and analyze the impact of marketing campaigns.
- Communicate with A&Rs and clients, ensuring timely project submissions and clear understanding of deadlines and deliverables.
- Provide marketing updates to the Head of Label Services to support artist presence and success across digital platforms.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including updating spreadsheets, managing backend pitch tools, and checking the Product Management email inbox.
- Maintain the Priority Artist drive, ensuring it is organized and updated with the latest artist assets, press photos, and EPKs.
- Support the tracking and reporting of DSP placements to Too Lost’s social media team and clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university or eligible to receive internship credit.
- Based in Los Angeles and available to work on-site 2-3 days a week
- Strong interest in music, digital marketing, and artist development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with music industry tools is a plus.
- Self-sufficient and independent while working collaboratively in a team.
- Quick learner who easily adapts to operational processes and technical systems.
- Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external teams.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
