OverviewUnder the direct supervision of the Medical Director, and in collaboration with the Public Programs leadership, the Behavioral Health Specialist provides individual and group psychotherapy and Psychoeducational services to patients of Men’s Health Foundation and Southern California Men’s Medical Group. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
QualificationsBe licensed to provide mental health services in the state of California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT); and have a least two years of experience post-licensure.

Language SkillsMust be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in person. Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as dollar totals, monetary conversions, discounts, interest, fractions, decimals, percentages, area, and volume. Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve technical and practical problems and deal with various intangibles in situations where only limited communication, support, information, and access exist. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills:Must have good computer skills and be proficient in the use of systems to complete correspondence, documents, spreadsheets and presentations, such as Microsoft Outlook and Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
