The Zimmer Children's Museum

The Zimmer Children’s Museum is a non-profit cultural institution located on Museum Row in Los Angeles, featuring hands-on exhibits for children ages 0-8 to explore BIG IDEAS in creative and inspiring settings. The Zimmer is also the only museum dedicated specifically to kids and families in Los Angeles.

The Zimmer has two main program initiatives: a children’s museum for 0-8 year olds and youTHink,
a creative youth development program for middle and high school students.

Our museum offers 10,000 square feet of discovery-based exhibits and more than 20 classes and
public programs each week in art, music & movement, cross-cultural exchange, school readiness,
early childhood education and five foreign languages.

youTHink empowers youth to make a difference in their lives and communities though arts-based
classroom lessons and a range of arts and youth leadership programs after school hours. These
programs empower youth to find their voice, develop their critical thinking skills, engage in creative
and meaningful extracurricular activities, and take positive action for social change.
