Inner Gardens is looking to hire an experienced horticulturalist to assist in the management of our large interior/exterior potted plant maintenance department.
We take care of the plants and trees inside the most beautiful homes in Los Angeles. We work with some of the most prestigious clients in the world and specialize in rare and exotic plants. Our staff is the most highly trained and talented in the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Visit job sites to assess and analyze plant issues
- Advise maintenance technicians on best care and practices to treat common and tricky plant maladies
- Troubleshoot plant issues, ranging from over/under watering, to mealybugs and fungus
- Perform maintenance as needed
- Meet with Clients, Maintenance Technicians, and Sales Team
- Assisting with quality control
Job Requirements:
- In-depth plant knowledge, especially of exotic and tropical plants
- Experience in horticulture and botany
- Deep understanding of insects and fungus issues
- Strong work ethic
- Drivers license and vehicle
- Bilingual helpful but not required
